CRS Manchester raise £115 for Comic Relief with St Patrick’s Day themed bake off
The CRS Manchester team recently held a St Patrick’s Day themed bake off in aid of Comic Relief and saw the team raise £115!
The Manchester CRS office organised a St Patrick’s themed bake off along with a day full of activities all with an Irish theme due to the event being held on 17th March. The day kicked off with a general knowledge quiz – everyone was split up into four teams, all named after Irish counties: Team Belfast, Team Dublin, Team Cork, Team Galway. Team Belfast won the quiz thanks to a tie breaker and were rewarded with a bag of mini chocolate eggs.
The day then continued with a host of mini games, including a cotton ball challenge, Where’s Wally? And pin the nose on the leprechaun. Each team was awarded with small Easter eggs on winning.

Why we chose to support Comic Relief
As the bake off was held on the day of this year’s Comic Relief, the team decided to raise funds to support this fantastic cause which saw a total of £115 donated.
All funds raised for Comic Relief will help support people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis and tackle issues such as homelessness, mental health problems, and food poverty here in the UK and around the world. With many people personally being affected by the cost of living crisis, it is a small contribution from the team to support those in need.
