With the festive season upon us and the end of Q3 fast approaching, CRS once again organised a festive-themed celebration for all Portsmouth, London and Manchester teams.  

At the end of each quarter, CRS rewards employees for all their hard work and successes by treating everyone to an evening or day out. As the end of Q3 encompasses the festive period, we have an annual combined celebration to mark both of these events.  

A festive-themed lunchtime buffet 

As all End of Quarters is hosted on Fridays, we ended the working day by arranging a lunchtime festive-themed buffet. There was a variety of Charcuterie platters with fresh meats, cheeses, crackers, salads, sandwiches and hot pies. With Christmas around the corner, this included turkey and cranberry sandwiches and a selection of sweet treats such as Ferro Roches, mince pies, stollen and chocolate logs. The buffet was provided by the local catering business Mother Truckers, and was very much enjoyed by all.   

An evening to celebrate 

This quarter’s evening event was held at The Alchemist in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. Welcome drinks (Including Don Pierre Champagne) were provided on arrival, along with the option of cocktails and mocktails of everyone’s choice. A selection of delicious canapes was also offered around.  

The evening entertainment started off with a local saxophone player, playing along to the music provided by the DJ. The team also had the opportunity to make their own cocktails.  

A three-course meal was provided for all which included a choice of starter, main and dessert, as well as an exclusive festive-themed cocktail or mocktail of your choice.  

The rest of the evening entailed an evening of drinks, more nibbles, catching up with friends and music provided by the saxophonist and DJ that got people in the mood for dancing.  

Another successful End of Quarter event 

This was another successful End of Quarter with lots of positive comments from lots of people across the business saying how much they enjoyed the chance to celebrate the successes of Q3 and the festive season.  

Compass End of Quarters are a great way for us to gather all teams from all Compass brands to interact with each other outside of the work environment.
