Nuffield – St Bartholomew’s

Nuffield Health exclusively partnered with the clinical team of Compass Associates’ Healthcare division, in order to build a team of specialist nurses who would be working at their brand-new St Bartholomew’s hospital in central London.

The team facilitated the clinical team build as part of a multi-phase hire, successfully placing more than 17 nurses into the new hospital in the space of less than six months – ensuring St Bartholomew’s was successfully opened as per the timescales Nuffield had planned.

Barchester Healthcare

Compass Associates were exclusively selected to partner with Barchester Healthcare between June 2017 and September 2018 to assist with their recruitment programme of recruiting the top 5% of Home Managers within the sector.

Over the course of fifteen months, Compass Associates’ Elderly Care division were responsible for sourcing and delivering some of the most esteemed Home Managers across the whole of the UK – delivering more than 80 permanent hires across the course of the agreement. Shortly after the completion of the project, Barchester were put up for sale for a suggested price of £2.5bn attracting international Investment attention.

Optegra

Compass Associates’ clinical Healthcare division supported leading ophthalmic hospital provider, Optegra Eye Health Care, with an exclusive team build over the course of twelve months which was closely aligned with the organisation’s long-term commercial and strategic vision of obtaining investment funding.

The team delivered more than 30 appointments between March 2022 and February 2023, offering both Employer Value Proposition, and Brand Value Proposition support during the campaign.

Babylon

Compass Associates’ General Healthcare division partnered exclusively with Babylon between July 2019 – March 2020, having initially been brought-on for a six month ‘blitz scale’ project clearing more than 80 permanent hires.

Owing to the success of the team, and the evolving long-term objectives of Babylon to reduce locum/agency spend, and secure a larger client base of permanent staff in the UK for forecasted growth, the team extended the agreement in order to add further value through additional hires. Babylon have since floated on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: BBLN).

Bupa

Compass Associates were exclusively mandated to be the recruitment partner to all 303 Bupa Care Homes for all clinical recruitment between October 2013 and December 2015.

This exclusive project saw Compass facilitate more than 517 placements during this two and a half year agreement, prior to Bupa selling a large portion of their portfolio to predominantly HC-One. Therefore, it was imperative to have secured a recruitment partner who could provide exceptional staff, providing stability and low employee turnover in the build-up to the sale process.
